As the former Senior Communications Officer for the Yale School of Public Health, I led editorial strategy, managed media relations, and served as the school's senior science writer. Before joining Yale, I spent more than a decade as a science writer and communications officer at the University of Connecticut. Before that, I worked for 21 years as a reporter for the Hartford Courant, where my coverage of juvenile justice and child welfare systems led to significant reforms.
